Here at DDivine Training, the team is at the forefront of everything we do. As we work with young people, we ensure every team member is trained, qualified and licensed to ensure our coaches provide an inclusive, fun and safe footballing experience. Our team is comprised of friendly, professional and diverse team, each bringing a variety of experiences, qualifications, achievements, and backgrounds.

Danny Divine DDivine Training

Danny Divine

Managing Director

Danny, a former professional football player for clubs such as Gillingham and Maidstone, founded DDivine Training with a passion for making football inclusive, safe, and enjoyable for all young people. He holds a UEFA B coaching license, DSL safeguard certification, first aid training, level 3 personal training certification, and community mentor training. Danny’s future goal is to collaborate with schools and make a positive impact on as many young people as possible through football. 

DDivine Training Matt Turner

Matt Turner

Having previously played football in the Kent Premier league, now known as SCEFL and Kent County Leagues with a range of clubs, Matt is now a level 2 qualified coach. In addition to that, Matt is also a full-time teacher having taught P.E for 4 years and has been teaching Science for the past 9 years. 

DDivine Training Jeoff Funnel

Joff Funnell

With extensive experience playing football in Kent County and Southern Counties League and teaching P.E, Joff has a wealth of knowledge in both football and schools. Additionally, he has coached numerous football teams in Kent, leading them to play at professional Academies and participate in tours and tournaments abroad. Joff is a Level 2 qualified football coach and holds a First-Class BA Honors in Physical Education and Activity. 

DDivine Training Ben Moss

Ben Moss

Ben, a semi-pro footballer who graduated from the Maidstone United academy, has coached children aged 2-15 in various settings such as primary schools, after-school clubs, development centres, holiday camps, and weekend classes. His qualifications include a BTEC sport qualification, Level 1 personal training and instructing, as well as FA football coaching badges. 

George Fowler DDivine Training

George Fowler

Between ages 12 and 19, George played for Ipswich Town, and from ages 19 to 24, he played for Aldershot Town. Currently, he is a centre-back for Maidstone United. Additionally, George has coaching experience at Aldershot Academy and offers high-quality 1-1 and group football coaching. He holds FA coaching badges at levels 1 and 2, a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport. 

DDivine Training Dillon Rogers

Dillon Rodgers

Dillon spent three years playing football at Maidstone United’s Academy before diving into coaching. He also contributed to organising community football events with Stones Community Trust. With four years of coaching experience, Dillon now coaches at Maidstone United’s U23 team and assists with coaching Palace Wood’s girls team. As well as that, Dillon has earned his Level 1 football coaching qualification. 

DDivine Training Ben Maci

Ben Maci

As a former student at the University of Brighton, Ben has earned his degree in sports coaching alongside his A-level in Sports Science. With a passion for football, he has six years of experience working in youth sports as a football coach in summer camps and holiday clubs. Currently, Ben serves as a performance analyst for a semi-professional club.
